Nokia is reportedly planning to launch the Nokia XR21 as a successor to the Nokia XR20. The phone was recently mis-labeled as the Nokia XR30 and key specifications of the smartphone were leaked. Now we have the full specs of the Nokia XR21 5G, thanks to the latest report.

The Nokia XR21 will debut as a premium smartphone with a rugged design, according to a WinFuture report. The publication clarifies that the newest Nokia XR smartphone will be the XR21, and not the Nokia XR30 as was previously claimed.

The handset will sport a 6.49-inch IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen will have a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus for protection.

At the front, the smartphone will feature a punch-hole notch at the top which houses the selfie camera. The camera has a resolution of 16MP and an aperture of f/2.45.

Meanwhile, the rear camera setup features a 64MP OmniVision main camera with an f/1.79 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP telephoto lens with up to 8x digital zoom. Additionally, the smartphone can only shoot videos up to 1080p.

The Nokia XR21 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. When it comes to the operating system, the smartphone will ship with the ancient Android 12. The report states that the brand may offer OS updates until May 2026 and security patches until May 2027.

As for the battery, the Nokia XR21 features a 4,800mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options for the phone include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Additionally, the handset is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.

Reports suggest that the Nokia XR21 could cost approximately $499 (around ₹40,800). The handset is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s no word on when the smartphone will make its global debut.
